Foresight to expand Tempe operation

Foresight Adding to Tempe High-Tech Site

Longtime Phoenix high-tech company, Foresight Technologies, is looking to expand its local operations.

The Phoenix Business Journal reports the company, which has been in business for 28 years in the East Valley, is building a 100,000-square-foot facility in Tempe. The new building will support the development and production of high-purity fluid delivery equipment for the semiconductor and chemical markets. The Foresight Technology Center will create 250 additional jobs, doubling Foresight’s current employee headcount.

Upon opening, the Foresight Technology Center will add to the 80,000 square feet of space already being used by the company in Tempe.

The center will serve both Foresight’s domestic and overseas customers. In addition to its Tempe operations, the firm has an Asia Pacific location with a 110,000-square-foot equipment manufacturing site in Penang, Malaysia.
