Fordham Real Estate has scheduled a panel discussion on housing affordability in New York City for Dec. 2

Fordham Real Estate Panel Will Examine NYC’s Affordability Shortage

Amid a housing crisis in New York City that disproportionately affects low-income households, Fordham Real Estate Institute (REI) will host a panel of experts on Friday, Dec. 2 from 9 to 11 a.m. to examine the underlying causes of the affordable housing shortages and the latest short- and long-term solutions to the problem.     

“Solving the Affordable Housing Crisis” will take place at Fordham School of Law, 150 W. 62nd St., Costantino Room, New York City. The free event is part of Fordham REI’s Visionary Series CCL and will be held in-person as well as presented virtually and livestreamed.  

The discussion will be moderated by Yasmin Cornelius, SVP, community affairs, L+M Development, and will feature the following panelists:  

  • Chris Dunn, managing partner, Mission Peak Capital  
  • Michael LaCour-Little, professor of finance, California State University, Fullerton  
  • Katherine McAdams, director of MFH Affordable Lending, Wells Fargo  
  • Jed Resnick, CEO, Douglaston Development
