FLX Plans New Fitness Studio in Seattle’s Roosevelt Neighborhood
High Street Residential, the residential subsidiary of Trammell Crow Company (TCC), announced the signing of a new retail lease on the ground floor of The Ryder, an upcoming 244-unit multifamily community in the Roosevelt neighborhood of Seattle, Washington.
FLX, a local Pilates studio, has agreed to take the project’s sole 1,268-square-foot retail space, making it the studio’s second location. The Ryder is expected to be delivered by the end of October 2026, while the studio is expected to open in January 2027.
Located at 6716 Roosevelt Way NE, The Ryder is a seven-story, transit-oriented development located one-half block from the Roosevelt Link Light Rail station. The community offers a mix of studio, one- and two-bedroom units. The Ryder is also within walking distance to Whole Foods, multiple restaurants and coffee shops.
“FLX is exactly the type of tenant we envisioned for The Ryder,” said Alan Cantlin, Principal with TCC in Seattle. “By bringing a locally owned wellness and fitness concept to the property, we’re enhancing the experience not only for our future residents, but also for the broader Seattle community.”
