Thompson Realty and Tree Capital to build mixed-use project in Flower Mound

Flower Mound Texas OK’s Mixed-Use Project

Thompson Realty Capital and Trez Capital are working together on a 50-acre mixed-use development located about 25 miles NW of Dallas. The first phase of the project includes a four-story, 200-unit multifamily community and 15,000 square feet of retail space for three restaurants. In addition, the plan calls for a 60,000 square foot office building.

The project took a while, but Thompson Realty’s Taylor Field thinks it will be worth it, “After more than four years and numerous site designs, Flower Mound’s Planning and Zoning Commission approved the project plan…we are excited to create a new gateway to the area.”

Thompson Realty Capital and Trez Capital have seven other multifamily projects under construction in Texas totaling 2,100 units. The new development is near Grapevine Lake and just five miles from DFW Airport. The property is expected to break ground in fall 2022 and the phase one completion date is slated for early 2024.
