  • Mike Bishop has joined Commercial Asset Partners Realty as director of strategic development. Bishop will focus primarily on industrial, office and retail commercial real estate in central Pasco County, east Pasco and southern Hernando County, one of the Tampa Bay region’s most active growth corridors. He previously served nearly five years as senior vice president/director of stakeholder engagement for Pasco Economic Development Council.
  • The Savills Q4 2025 Tampa Bay Office Market Report shows a strong year-end finish as leasing activity and demand for Class A space continued to tighten market conditions. Tampa Bay recorded 1.1 million square feet of leasing in Q4. Overall availability declined 320 basis points year over year to 16.5%. Asking rents continued to climb, with Class A rents rising 15.6% year over year to $38.14 per square foot.
  • Marcus & Millichap announced the sale of the 97-room Comfort Suites Sarasota Siesta Key, located at 5690 Honore Ave. in Sarasota, Florida. Robert Hunter and Leo Reilly exclusively marketed the property on behalf of the seller, the original developer. They procured the buyer, an established owner-operator with a strong presence in Florida.  The three-story property was built in 2013.
  • Construction firm Robins & Morton celebrated the ribbon cutting of the new headquarters for Okaloosa Gas District in Valparaiso, Fla. The project included a four-story, 152,000-square-foot office building, an 18,400-square-foot operations center, a 7,200-square-foot vehicle maintenance building, and a 23,540-square-foot warehouse.
