- Berkadia secured a $32.41 million loan on behalf of Robbins Property Associates and Hartford Investment Management Company (HIMCO) to refinance Lakeside Central Apartments, a 228-unit garden-style apartment in the Tampa suburb of Brandon, Florida. Senior Managing Director Mitch Sinberg, Managing Directors Scott Wadler and Brad Williamson, and Vice President Hugo Hernandez of Berkadia Miami and Boca Raton secured the financing. Berkadia originated the Freddie Mac-backed five-year, fixed-rate loan with a 70% loan-to-value.
- Buligo Capital purchased Sarasota Industrial Business Center for $27.4 million. The portfolio is located 2 miles east of Sarasota Bradenton International Airport in Sarasota and includes five industrial parcels totaling over 186,650-square-feet of shallow-bay industrial space, as well as 1.12 acres of industrial outdoor storage and laydown yard. Biscayne Atlantic purchased the property in 2023 and spent more than $1.3 million making capital improvements.
- SobelCo affiliate Aquao Holdings LLC is seeking to build a high-rise condominium in Riviera Beach. The project would be located on the 4.27-acre site at 1117 Broadway Blvd./U.S. 1. It would have 508 condo units, 10,000 square feet of retail/restaurant space and 1,083 parking spaces. The project would total 1.23 million square feet, with two 20-story towers and two 13-story towers.
