  • JLL has made two significant additions to its office tenant representation team in South Florida, welcoming industry veterans Sean Black as Senior Managing Director and Tyler de la Peña as Senior Vice President. Sean, a former Olympic boxer, joins from the New York market and brings an unmatched level of determination and strength to his work advocating for clients, while Tyler, a native of South Florida who was most recently with Colliers, brings an in-depth understanding of the region’s dynamic office market. 
  • CBRE announced that Derek Bornhorst and Adam Bornhorst have joined its Industrial & Logistics group in Fort Myers, Florida, as Senior Vice President and Vice President, respectively. The team will focus on the leasing and sale of industrial facilities in Southwest Florida on behalf of occupiers, owners and investors.  The team joins the company from Lee & Associates, where Derek Bornhorst served as President and Principal of its Southwest Florida business and Adam Bornhorst served as Senior Vice President.
  • Colliers | U.S. announced that Courtland Eyrick has joined the company as Managing Director and Brokerage Market Leader for the North Florida region. In his new role, Eyrick will oversee all brokerage operations, including recruitment, retention, and business development for the Jacksonville and Gainesville, Florida markets.
  • Crunch Fitness is opening five new gyms in the Orlando area by May 1. Crunch will take over five 24 Hour fitness gyms in Apopka, Lake Mary, Winter Park and Orlando.
  • A two-year-old apartment complex in Miami’s Little Havana sold for $15 million. The S. Florida Business Journal reports Gilbert A. Contreras sold the 43-unit apartment complex at 2052 S.W. 1st St. to Izhak Wanounou in Miami. The buyer assumed a $6.06 million mortgage from Ocean Bank on the apartment building.
