Flooring Services Southwest launched construction on a 260,000-square-foot facility at 130 Commerce Center in Pflugerville, TX. Flooring Services Southwest, a subsidiary of Dallas-based FS Builder Resources, will open with 140 jobs, and will eventually expand to 200 jobs within the next five years.

The $20-million facility, located on Impact Way near East Pecan Street and State Highway 130, will house additional FS Builder Resources companies. These will include Interior Builders Supply Lighting, Design Gallery, Stone Resources, Premier Stair and Metric Boulevard.

The facility is being built in two phases. The first, a 187,000-square-foot facility, will include office space, the first regional design and lighting gallery in Texas, and a large warehouse for housing construction materials. The second phase, at 73,000 square feet, will be for stone countertop fabrication. Structure Tone Southwest in Austin is the general contractor.

The Pflugerville Community Development Corp. owns the 185-acre 130 Commerce Center.
