FloorballPlanet, a division of GBK Sports LLC, selected Woodlands Business Center in Grand Prairie, TX for its headquarters, distribution center and showroom. The company is the largest supplier of equipment and accessories in the Western Hemisphere for the sport of “floorball.” FloorballPlanet signed a long-term lease for 12,818 square feet at 2005 108^th St., in the Great Southwest Industrial District.

Dallas-Fort Worth is a key player in the sport of floorball, which is similar to floor hockey. “We all had our eyes opened somewhat as to how big this sport is. A lot of folks involved in this transaction had to be educated about floorball,” said Michael Spain with Bradford Commercial Real Estate Services. Spain teamed with Bradford colleagues Brock Wilson and Joe Santaularia to represent the landlord, Woodlands Business Center LLC. The tenant was represented by Bob Gibbons of REATA Commercial Realty LLC.

The lease pushes the three-building, 91,854-square-foot Woodlands Business Center to 100% occupancy.
