Flexible Living Operator Opens 530 Houston Apartment, Hotel Units

Flexible living operator Sentral has opened Forme in Houston’s Museum District, a 33-story residential and extended stay hotel. The project has 475 residential units and 55 hotel suites, which can be booked for extended stays of 30 days or more.

Located at 5501 La Branch Street in the Museum District, the project is housed in the former coliving development known as X Houston. After construction stalled for more than year, Raven Capital and Mavik Capital rescued the project in 2024. 

Amenities include a coworking floor operated by Regus, a fitness space, a cocktail bar and lounge, a pool deck, and other social spaces. Forme says the building is well-suited for project-based professionals, relocations, medical stays, temporary assignments and residents who may need flexibility.

Rent starts at $1,750 a month, and the company is currently offering two months’ free rent on certain units.
