Flex Kitchen Startup Commits to Brooklyn Location
Newmark arranged a 9,512-square-foot lease for Nimbus at 100 Willoughby St. in Brooklyn. This lease signing marks the second location for the flex kitchen startup company, which also has a space on Manhattan’s Lower East Side.
Newmark was the sole broker on the transaction, with director Andrew Connolly representing the landlord while director Michael Paster and associate Jared Robins represented the tenant.
“We were happy to collaborate on both the landlord and tenant side of this transaction, thus ensuring a seamless workflow for both parties,” said Paster. “The pandemic has created a burgeoning market for food purveyors like Nimbus to grow in the city, and their new location offers them excellent access to a varied mix of potential new clients from its robust office, residential and retail sectors.
At the 100 Willoughby location, the kitchen concept will also feature a consumer-facing aspect that will be open to the public.
