Flatiron District Offices Reach 97% Leased

With six new tenants, 20 W. 22nd St. is now 97% leased and has an offer out on another space, said Gregg Schenker, president/co-managing partner in ABS Partners Real Estate, the managing and leasing agent.

“Our focus on smaller tenants — under 5,000 square feet– affords an easy transition to 20 W. 22nd St. from shared offices suites and others looking to resize their operation,” said Jason Fein and Robert Finkelstein, building leasing agents and partners at ABS. “Furnished space is especially appealing to small tenants, enabling their ability to move in right away, keeping the burden of associated costs with the landlord.

“Indeed, a great many New York City tenants are classified as small businesses. And we are highly focused on catering to their needs.”

The 16-story, 175,000-square-foot office and retail building is home to approximately 72 tenants. It is situated near both Madison Square and Union Square Parks in Manhattan’s Flatiron district.
