Fitness Chain Establishes First NYC Location with RXR in Brooklyn
Fitness Factory Health Club signed an 18,000-square-foot lease at RXR Realty’s 475 Clermont, a luxury rental building on the border of Brooklyn’s Clinton Hill and Fort Greene neighborhoods. It will be the fitness chain’s first location in New York City, as well as the first retail lease at 475 Clermont.
“Fitness Factory represents a major piece to our puzzle at 475 Clermont and is the ideal anchor tenant as we officially kick off our leasing program at the property,” said RIPCO’s Jason Pennington.
He represented RXR in the 10-year lease with his colleagues Andrew Clemens, Benjamin Weiner and Jessica Hedrington. There was no tenant rep involved in the deal.
“As Fort Greene and Clinton Hill further evolve into seven-day neighborhoods, we are in search of best-in-class retail tenants that will complement one another and best serve the diverse group of people living in-and-around these communities,” Pennington said.
