FirstService Residential Acquires Willis Management, Grows NorCal Footprint

FirstService Residential has expanded its residential property management business in California with the acquisition of Willis Management Group, Inc., a full-service residential and commercial association company based in San Ramon. Terms weren’t disclosed. The partnership adds more than 165 residential and commercial associations to the company’s management portfolio and expands its regional footprint in Northern California.

“This partnership represents an alignment of culture, goals and values between our two companies and is an exceptional fit with our existing operations,” said Amy Mathieson, president of FirstService Residential, California. “The expansion allows for broad regional growth in Northern California while providing Willis with access to proprietary and innovative systems that will allow them to enhance their services to their clients.”

Founded in 2001, Willis was established by Chris Willis, an industry professional for more than 20 years. Chris Willis will serve as president of the Willis operations.
