First Tenants Sign at Liberty Logistics

Essendant Co. and Basic Components are the first tenants to take space at Liberty Logistics Center II, a new, 73-acre industrial park in Phoenix being developed by Liberty Property Trust. Essendant pre-leased 261,880 square feet at 1500 S. 71st Ave., representing 60% of the 437,105 square feet currently under construction. In the meantime, Basic Components will occupy 44,722 square feet at the just-completed 7205 W. Buckeye Rd.

Don MacWilliam, Payson MacWilliam and Rob Martensen of Colliers International, and Megan Creecy-Herman with Liberty represented the landlord in the transactions. Don MacWilliam and Payson MacWilliam also represented Basic Components. Trevor Ragsdale, Bill Honsaker, Marc Hertzberg and Tony Lydon with JLL represented Essendant Co.

Essendant’s space will be completed by summer. Basic Components will move into its new space in the spring.
