First Tenant Signs-On at San Jose’s Coleman Highline Development
8×8, Inc. signed a 162,000-square-foot headquarters lease at Coleman Highline, 1.5-million-square-foot, mixed-use development under construction by Cupertino-based Hunter Storm in San Jose and Santa Clara, CA. The provider of cloud communications and customer engagement solutions plans to move its growing San Francisco Bay Area employee base, currently located in two separate offices, into the new office building by early 2019.
8×8 will be the first tenant at the commercial real estate project, occupying the entire Class A building number one. The company currently occupies 140,831 square feet in San Jose at 2125 O’Nel Dr., and 2665 N. 1st St.
Coleman Highline, located at 1143 and 1155 Coleman Ave., will eventually include eight buildings that are connected via a promenade of passageways and outdoor gathering areas. The initial phase of development, totaling 357,000 square feet, is nearly complete. The project is planned to include two hotels, retail, amenity buildings and parking structures.
