First Tenant Signs On at PDX Adaptive Urban Industrial Campus

Portland-based R&H Construction is taking roughly 52,000 square feet in two buildings at The Hopper, a 167,000-square-foot adaptive urban industrial campus in Portland, OR. It is the first tenant signing at the multi-building property, which will serve as the company’s new HQ.

Located on 5.3 acres at 2000 NW Wilson in the northwest district, The Hopper is owned by Winkler Development and Watumull Properties Corporation.

R&H Construction plans to utilize 18,000 square feet in Building C for offices, and 34,000 square feet of warehouse space in Building B for its shop and field resource center. The contractor is relocating from the Goose Hollow neighborhood, and is expected to take occupancy of the warehouse space by Q2 2018, followed by the office space once build-out is completed.

Niehaus Properties Inc.’s Robert Niehaus represented the tenant. Cushman & Wakefield’s Brad Carnese, Aaron Watt and Mark Carnese advised the owner.
