First Tech Federal Credit Union Opens Branch in City Place

The relocated Greater Houston area branch of San Jose-based First Tech Federal Credit Union is now open in City Place located at the Grand Parkway, Hardy Toll Road and Interstate 45. The nearly 70-year-old financial institution recently opened the doors of the 2,188-square-foot street-level space at 1701 City Plaza Dr.

First Tech Federal Credit Union takes up residency on the ground floor of the 10-story American Bureau of Shipping building, just steps from The Plaza.

“The City Place location provides convenience to our customers and numerous perks to our employees with dining, entertainment, trails and activated greenspace all just steps away,” says Chris Mantie, First Tech vice president of sales and service.

City Place is a 60-acre mixed-use urban development which is a joint venture of Patrinely Group, USAA Real Estate and CDC Houston.
