First Residential Phase of Buzzard Point MF Development Opens

Akridge and National Real Estate Development announced the openings of two apartment buildings, Colette and Everly, within The Stacks in DC’s Buzzard Point neighborhood.

The walkable community, which spans nearly 1 million square feet, includes 1,116 residential units, over 90,000 square feet of shared amenities across the three residential buildings, approximately 40,000 square feet of retail space, and 11,000 square feet of dedicated coworking space.

“Between these two new residential towers and their sister building, The Byron, which opened earlier this year, The Stacks offers three distinctive luxury living options to match residents’ needs,” said Adam Gooch, Managing Principal and Chief Development Officer at Akridge.

At full buildout, The Stacks will feature 2 million square feet of mixed-use space, including apartments, retail, hotel, office, open space and a selection of shops and restaurants. The Stacks is jointly owned by Akridge, Bridge Investment Group, Blue Coast Capital and institutional funds managed by National Real Estate Advisors. Global architecture firm Gensler is the architect for Everly.
