First Republic Bank Leases 19K-SF at Portland High Rise
San Francisco-based First Republic Bank has signed a 19,000-square-foot lease at the Fox Tower on 805 S.W. Broadway in Portland, OR. The bank currently has its Portland headquarters nearby at 947 S.W. Broadway, and did not reveal why it needed extra space or was planning a move.
According to the Portland Business Journal, First Republic is the eighth-largest FDIC-insured bank operating in the Portland area, with $2.67 billion in local deposits and 112 employees in the region.
The 27-story Fox Tower is the 14th largest office building in Portland, with nearly 380,000 square feet of space. The property is 91% occupied, according to the property manager TMT Development. The building, which was completed in 2000 at a cost of $64 million, is named after the Fox Theater that occupied the site until the late 1990’s.
