First of BCBSTX-Sanitas Centers Opens

Sanitas Medical Center and Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Texas officially opened the first of 10 new medical centers planned for Dallas and Houston. The first center opened in Richardson, TX at 350 S. Plano Rd.

The centers, representing a collaboration between Sanitas and BCBSTX, are one-stop shops to deliver primary and urgent care, lab and diagnostic imaging services and wellness and disease management programs to BCBSTX members.The centers offer bi-lingual providers and staff; BCBSTX customer service representatives will also be on site. Most of the locations will be open 365 days a year.

Dallas-area centers are:

• 6500 N. MacArthur Blvd., Las Colinas
• 2021 N. Town East Blvd., Mesquite

Houston-area centers are:

• 2610 N. Mason Rd., Katy
• 10101 S. Post Oak Rd., Meyerland
• 12302 Jones Rd., Willowbrook
• 12823 Gulf Fwy., Southbelt
• 18532 Kuykendahl Rd., Spring
• 12586 Westheimer Rd., Briarforest
