First Logistics Takes 330K SF in Chicago at J.P. Morgan’s, MAT’s Marina Crossings

Marina Crossings Owner, LLC, secured its first tenant at 2075 W. 43rd Street, an infill industrial development in Chicago. First Logistics, an Illinois-based 3PL, will expand from its current facility in Alsip, IL to take immediate occupancy of 331,059 square feet.

The deal ranks as Chicago’s largest of 2018, and was executed at the city’s largest speculative industrial building since 1905. The state-of-the-art 633,057-square-foot industrial facility features 32-foot ceilings, cross docking, precast construction and ample car and trailer parking. Delivered in Q4 2018, the 35-acre property is rail served, and is off the I-55 Stevenson Expressway.

Midwest Commercial Real Estate’s Larry Hanley represented the tenant. Cushman & Wakefield’s Larry Goldwasser, Jason West, Colin Green, Matt Cowie and Michelle Maguire advised the landlord. The landlord is a joint venture between MAT Limited Partnership and institutional investors advised by J.P. Morgan Asset Management.
