First Liberty Public Market Filling Up
Liberty Station will be getting a food hall in the fall.
The multi-use area will add First Liberty Public Market, and tenants are already coming on board. About two dozen different types of eateries and food vendors will be housed in a warehouse-style building on the site.
Blue Bridge Hospitality, which was hired by Liberty Station developer Corky McMillin Companies, is curating the different culinary uses that will go into First Liberty. So far the firm has signed on a coffee roaster, ice cream shop and sausage maker.
The hope is that the market will generate a similar buzz to Pike Place Market in Seattle.
