First Industrial Acquires 172K-SF Facility in S. FLA’s Pompano Business Center

First Industrial Realty Trust, Inc. acquired Pompano Business Center, a 172,120 square-foot warehouse/distribution building in Pompano Beach, FL for $22.7 million. Located at 2504 NW 19th St., the rear-load facility features 16 dock-high doors and two drive-in doors, 323 auto stalls and an additional 4.1-acre parking lot for a potential future development.

First Industrial also signed a long-term lease for 19,000 square feet with Stoncor Group, Inc., a leading provider of corrosion and abrasion control solutions for the infrastructure and construction markets. This brings the facility to 100% leased.

The acquisition was completed by First Industrial’s Richard Prokup, Brad Kluever, and Chris Willson. Cushman & Wakefield’s Mike Davis, Rick Brugge and Michael Lerner assisted. The lease involved Hanna Commercial’s Sean Rooney, Avison Young’s Jay Ziv and Cushman & Wakefield’s Matthew McAllister, Rick Etner, Chris Metzger and Christopher Thomson.
