First Hospitality Names VP of Business Development

First Hospitality, a Rosemont, IL-based hotel management, acquisition, development, and consulting company, announces the appointment of Jordan Bernstein as VP of business development. Bernstein brings more than 15 years’ hospitality experience with a focus on company growth to the organization.
 
In his new role, Bernstein is responsible for developing new management contracts nationwide working in collaboration with Natalie Stone, who oversees different regions in a comparable role. Bernstein and Stone are tasked with expanding First Hospitality’s portfolio of third-party managed hotels.  
 
Before joining the company, Bernstein held a director role with InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG) overseeing transactions, asset management and upscale development. In this dual role, Bernstein was responsible for the development and franchise growth of IHG’s upscale brands, along with strategic projects, workouts, and retention of priority hotels. Prior to IHG, Bernstein worked with Starwood Hotels & Resorts for more than 12 years.

Paul Bubny serves as Senior Content Director for Connect Commercial Real Estate, a role to which he brings 13-plus years’ experience covering the commercial real estate industry and 30-plus years in business-to-business journalism. His tenure in B2B publishing stretches back into the print era, and he has served as Editor in Chief on four national trade publications. Since 1999, Paul has volunteered as the newsletter editor of passenger rail advocacy groups (one national, one local).
