First Building Delivers in Alameda Marina Master Plan Development

Pacific Development and joint venture partner PGIM Real Estate have delivered the first building in the larger Alameda Marina Master Plan. Located on the Oakland Estuary, the 368-unit Launch is one of the first residential offerings to be delivered in Alameda in the past 50 years.

“Launch will offer increased access to the waterfront and outdoor amenities with unparalleled views of the Alameda Marina, Oakland and San Francisco’s skylines, as well as a chance to be a part of the historic Alameda Island community within a new, modern setting,” said Sean Murphy, partner at Pacific Development.

As part of the larger Alameda Marina Master Plan, Launch will bring the first half of the total planned residential units to Alameda’s coastline. At full build-out, the Alameda Marina Master Plan will include 1.2 million square feet of mixed-use development, including up to 760 new residential units and 104 deed-restricted affordable housing units.
