Buc-ee’s Announces Goodyear Opening Date

The famous Texas-based travel center company will open June 22. Arizona’s long-awaited first Buc-ee’s t is located on the southeast corner of Bullard Avenue and Interstate 10 in Goodyear.

The store will have 120 fueling stations and a 74,000-square-foot convenience store. The Luling, Texas, location is the world’s largest convenience store at 75,593 square feet.

The Goodyear City Council approved rezoning for the 22-acre property in January 2024, and Buc-ee’s purchased the former farmland for $17.24 million two months later. Construction began in October 2024.

Buc-ee’s has developed a wide following for its variety of snacks and abundance of unique souvenirs.

There are 54 Buc-ee’s nationwide, with 35 in Texas.
