First Allied Plaza Bought As Part of $753M Deal

First Allied Plaza, an office tower located at 655 W. Broadway in downtown San Diego, has traded hands as part of a multi-state portfolio totaling $753 million. The new owner is the New York State Common Retirement Fund (NYSCRF), and the seller was MetLife Real Estate Investments.

MetLife reportedly acquired the building in 2014 for $156.8 million.

First Allied Plaza, built in 2005, is situated on 1.7 acres, and totals 376,703 square feet over 23 stories. The sale was part of a major transaction that includes properties in Atlanta, Miami, Dallas, San Jose, Chicago and Arlington, Va.
