Fireside Flats MF Launched in Seattle’s Roosevelt Neighborhood

Seattle-based Pastakia + Associates commenced construction on Fireside Flats, a six-story multifamily building in Seattle. The project is located on four lots at 831-845 NE 68th St. in the popular Roosevelt neighborhood near the future Roosevelt Transit Station.

The project will include a mix of 102 open one-, one- and two-bedroom apartment homes. The Art Deco era designed property is named in honor of the Roosevelt neighborhood and as a play on words surrounding former President Franklin D. Roosevelt’s popular fireside chats.

An expansive rooftop deck and amenity terrace with club lounge provides 360-degree views and breakout areas. Both indoor and outdoor fireplaces are a prominent feature in the building designed to promote community gathering. The flexible amenity space is also dually-designed to provide a safe daytime work-from-home space while emulating a speakeasy-style club to promote safe evening community gatherings.

Shoring and excavation is now under way, and the project is slated to deliver in Fall 2022.
