Fintech Startup iam bank Expands Global HQ Footprint

Having located its global headquarters in Chicago last summer with 35 employees, FinTech startup iam bank now plans a major expansion of its footprint. At a startup hub in Dublin on Monday, Mayor Rahm Emanuel (right) and Irish entrepreneur Lee Travers (left), the bank’s CEO, said the company would expand its headquarters to 300 employees.

The announcement provided no details on square footage, nor whether the expansion entailed a move from iam bank’s current headquarters at 222 Merchandise Plaza. Calling the city “a hotbed for FinTech startups,” Travers said, “Chicago provides us with a great opportunity to grow our business and find the best and most talented employees.”

Emanuel added, “As Chicago continues to create jobs at a record pace, iam bank plans to be part of that success by expanding their footprint here and contributing to our city’s expanding economy.” The announcement was made at Dogpatch Labs in Dublin’s historic chq Building.
