Fintech Firm Fills 14K-SF at 1740 Broadway
Technology firm Thesys Technologies has signed a new seven-year lease for 13,787 square feet of office space at 1740 Broadway, a 26-story tower in Midtown Manhattan.
“The cutting-edge, stylish design of our prebuilt spaces at 1740 Broadway proved to be the perfect fit for an innovative fintech company and industry leader like Thesys Technologies,” said Zachary Freeman, vice president of leasing with Equity Office, which bought the 620,000-square-foot tower in 2014 and renovated the entrance and lobby.
The technology firm will move from its old headquarters at 3 Columbus Circle in the fourth quarter of 2017. Built in 1950, 1740 Broadway was designed by Shreve, Lamb & Harmon, the same architectural firm that designed the Empire State Building.
