Finegold Alexander Selected as Architect for Beverly City Hall Renovation

Finegold Alexander Architects, a Boston-based firm, has been selected to lead the design and construction of the Beverly City Hall renovation in Beverly, Massachusetts.

The building was originally constructed in 1785 and was converted to Beverly City Hall in 1841. Finegold Alexander will work with the City of Beverly and Colliers Project Leaders to reconfigure the facility to meet the needs of a 21st-century city government. The proposed reconfiguration of the facility will house most city departments with public access, along with current and future operational space needs.

“Finegold Alexander looks forward to rejuvenating the historic Beverly City Hall into an innovative, accessible, sustainable, and efficient building for the City of Beverly and its community,” said Jeff Garriga, principal at Finegold Alexander. The architectural firm plans to implement design elements and building systems that reduce energy consumption in pursuit of clean and renewable energy projects.
