Financial Services Firm Relocates to Tower 46

SL Green Realty Corp has signed a new 10-year lease covering 22,518 square feet for the entire 30th floor at Tower 46, a/k/a 55 W. 46th St. The tenant, XP Securities, serves institutional clients from around the world with their equities, fixed income and derivatives business needs.

Steven Durels, EVP, director of leasing and real property for SL Green, said XP Securities is joining “a high profile tenant roster which includes Comcast, Nixon Peabody and Fir Tree, who have all been attracted to Tower 46 by its column free floors, state-of-the art infrastructure, 14’ height floor slabs, sweeping views and in-building amenities which include executive fitness center and parking garage, together with walking convenience to Grand Central Terminal and Bryant Park.”

CBRE’s Jared Freede represented XP, which is moving from 5 Bryant Park. A CBRE leasing team of Peter Turchin, James Ackerson, Christie Harle and Cara Chayet advised SL Green.
