Financial Partners Credit Union Acquires Costa Mesa Office Park for $13M

Financial Partners Credit Union has acquired Scenic Business Park from EQ Office for $13 million in a transaction brokered by Cushman & Wakefield’s Jeffrey Cole, Ed Hernandez, Nico Napolitano, John Gallivan and Brian Booth.

Located at 1665 Scenic Ave. in Costa Mesa, CA, the two-story building features 51,176-square-feet of office space in the trendy SoCo (South Coast Metro) district on a 2.7-acre site. The property was 38% leased at the time of sale to So Cal’s legendary apparel brand Vans.

Jeffrey Cole, Vice Chairman with CushWake’s Irvine Office noted “Scenic Business Park presented the exceptional opportunity to acquire this institutional-quality asset in a highly accessible, preferred location for millennial-focused companies.”

The announcement notes SoCo’s new creative urban and experiential retail amenities are an attraction to the area, with Scenic Business Park in close proximity to the SoCo Collection, Vans World HQ, Los Angeles Chargers HQ (Hive) and other locations.
