Final Piece of Playa Jefferson Campus Breaks Ground
New York-based Rockwood Capital and Irvine, CA-based Marshall Development broke ground on the final building at Playa Jefferson. The planned expansion encompasses a 55,000-square-foot building, which once completed late next year, will increase the size of the office campus to roughly 250,000 square feet.
The Gensler-designed Building E will feature 14-foot slab-to-slab floor heights, 13-foot high windows, side-core open plan flexibility, direct walk-up access for all floors, outdoor meeting and eating areas, multiple roll-up glass garage doors and parking at a ratio of 4.32 per 1,000.
Playa Jefferson is owned by an affiliate of Rockwood and managed by Marshall Development. The existing four-building campus is 100% leased to leading technology and media firms including Facebook, Omnicom Group Inc., R/GA and Arup.
LA Realty Partners’ Peter Best, Lisa St. John and Owen Fileti handle the leasing assignment at the building.
