Fifield Set for Groundbreaking on TOD in River West

Fifield Cos. is set to break ground today on 740 Aberdeen. The 11-story transit-oriented development in the West Loop’s River West neighborhood is scheduled to deliver 188 luxury apartments in fall 2020.

The project is designed by Chicago architecture firm FitzGerald Associates Architects, with interiors by Morgante Wilson Associates and McHugh Construction as general contractor. 740 Aberdeen also will include a public park designed by Hitchcock Design Group, which will feature a dog park, green spaces and various seating.

Indoor amenities will include a penthouse-level party room, a coffee bar, co-working space, fitness center, bike storage and a bike kitchen with tools, supplies and other bike maintenance equipment.

Along with the public park, outdoor amenities include a landscaped sun terrace with pool and shade cabanas, grilling stations, and private lounging and dining areas. The building will also feature 2,400 square feet of ground-floor retail.

Connect Texas Multifamily will take place August 15, 2019 in Dallas. For more information, or to register, click here.
