Fifield Reaches Leasing Milestones in Logan Square, River West

Fifield Cos. said Monday that its two newest Chicago luxury apartment buildings have reached leasing milestones. Logan Apartments, the 220-unit development  at 2480-2522 N. Milwaukee Ave. in Logan Square, has reached full lease-up, and Westerly, a 188-unit mixed-use apartment building at 740 N. Aberdeen St. in River West, is two-thirds leased.

“Both buildings opened during some of the most challenging months of the pandemic when the market was significantly impacted,” said Jon Schneider, SVP at Fifield. “Yet, in both cases, it was clear from early in the leasing process how much the thoughtful floor plans, with their well-appointed finishes, and the range of amenities, designed for everything from remote work to outdoor recreation, resonated with renters.”

He added that renter interest in neighborhoods such as Logan Square and River West “held steady throughout the pandemic,” as did interest in new-construction buildings.
