FedEx Steps Up Inland Empire Service
A new FedEx plant in Palm Springs is expected to significantly increase Inland Empire service.
FedEx Ground recently opened a 150,000-square-foot logistics center in the city that will reportedly speed up deliveries throughout the area. This new facility complements the FedEx plant in Bloomington, that handles customers further west.
FedEx’s new building comes at a time when distribution centers are serious business in the Inland Empire, with such large companies as Amazon.com, grocer Aldi and Deckers Outdoor moving into significant spaces.
The Kiernan Companies built the new facility.
