Federal Tops Out on Future Puma HQ at Assembly Row

Federal Realty Investment Trust celebrated the topping off of Assembly Row’s newest building at 455 Grand Union Blvd. in Somerville, MA, honoring the work of Ironworkers Local 7. The steel roof beam was raised approximately 200 feet in the air, and is one of the last of approximately 3,500 tons of steel that was used in construction.

455 Grand Union is a 300,000 square-foot class-A office building at the Assembly Row mixed-use complex, and will be anchored by Puma North America’s new corporate headquarters. The building is scheduled for completion in January of 2021.

The Puma headquarters is part of Assembly Row’s third phase, which will also include a 500-unit apartment building. Phases 1 and 2, already completed, include Partners Healthcare headquarters, a 12-screen AMC movie theater and more apartments.
