Fatburger Targeting Texas for Expansion
Los Angeles-headquartered FAT Brands Inc. is targeting the Lone Star State for expansion. Specifically, the quick-service restaurant chain is partnering with Croft Ventures LLC of Dallas to develop 25 Fatburger locations throughout Texas, as part of a 200-unit nationwide expansion. The first stores are being planned for Austin, Dallas, Houston and San Antonio.
“Texas is one of the fastest-growing states in the country, and we can’t wait to turn Fatburger into its new staple burger joint,” said Curtis Croft, CEO of Croft Ventures, which is the parent company of Famous Franchises LLC.
FAT Brands acquires, markets and develops fast-casual and casual dining restaurant concepts around the world. The company currently owns eight restaurant brands: Fatburger, Buffalo’s Cafe, Buffalo’s Express, Hurricane Grill & Wings, Elevation Burger, Yalla Mediterranean and Ponderosa and Bonanza Steakhouses, and franchises over 400 units worldwide.
