Fast growing Forney site for new apartment complex

Fast-Growing Forney Site for New 336-Unit Rental Community

Aspire Ventures has purchased 14 acres for a new rental community in Forney, near US Highway 80. Aspire plans to build a 336-unit apartment project on the property. Vanguard Real Estate Advisors represented the buyer. JHP Architecture designed the project. The $40 million rental community is set to open in 2024.

The new project will be called LUX at Gateway Apartments, to be built in the 2,000 acre Gateway master planned community. Besides the multifamily project, the first phase of Gateway’s retail offering is underway, calling for approximately 200,000 sq. ft. of shops, stores and restaurants. The community is also planning office and industrial. in 2022, Forney has been able to announce three industrial construction projects with over 1 million square feet each.

Located east of Dallas in Kaufman County, Forney is one of the fastest growing communities in North Texas. The area’s population is projected to reach approximately 100,000 by 2025.
