Fashion Retailer Selects Atlanta Metro for 1M-SF E-Commerce Facility
NKF, in collaboration with U.K. counterpart Knight Frank, negotiated a one-million-square-foot industrial lease transaction for ASOS, a London-based fashion retailer, in Union City, GA, a suburb south of Atlanta. ASOS plans to open an e-commerce fulfillment center, which will eventually employ 1,600 and have a 10-million-unit capacity.
ASOS plans to invest $40 million in the first phase of development at Majestic Airport Center IV, Building A, which is located at South Fulton Parkway and Stonewall Tell Road.
Knight Frank’s Charles Binks, Geoffrey Kasselman and Robert Hess, along with NKF’s Brad Lindquist, Tom Florino, Dave Watson, Stephen Bonge, Thomas Turners and Drew McKendry represented the tenant. The landlord, Majestic Realty Co., was self-represented.
NKF’s Geoffrey Kasselman says, “This will be a significant step forward for ASOS’ global operations, and will further position them as one of the most elite e-retailers anywhere in the world.”
