Faropoint Hires VP Acquisition for Midwest Expansion

Michael Janus has joined Faropoint as VP of Acquisitions in the Midwest. Janus will oversee investment opportunities, asset management and the strategic growth of Faropoint’s footprint across Chicago, Cincinnati and Columbus and will be responsible for business relationships throughout the Midwest.

He will report to Senior Vice President and Midwest Market Officer Jordan Nathan. “Michael has a wealth of experience managing teams and growing assets under management for some of the leading real estate investment firms in the Chicago area,” Nathan said.

Janus has spent over 12 years managing diversified real estate portfolios and overseeing advisory services, equity procurement and investment sales at firms including Cadence Capital Partners, HFF, and Inland American REIT.

Prior to joining Faropoint, he served as VP of Investments for healthcare private equity fund Medcraft Investment Partners. Janus graduated from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio, with an Urban and Regional Planning degree.
