Denver developer to build 8-story office around the Cherry Cricket

Famous Denver Burger Joint Site for 8-Story Office Project

The Cherry Cricket will stay. It’s been a going concern since 1945. Alpine Investments will just build around the famous Denver burger restaurant. Alpine paid $25 million for a little more than a half-acre site between the Cherry Cricket and the Clayton Hotel & Members Club. The developers want to replace the adjacent businesses, a tailor and bar, with an eight-story office and retail building. The Denver Business Journal reports the office would include three levels of below-grade parking and ground-floor retail space as well.

The developers, along with Revesco Properties, broke ground in March on a 12-story multifamily project in the Golden Triangle, and on a mixed-use project with 84 apartment homes along Tennyson Street in June.
