Family-Owned Trucking Company Leases in Compton, Calif.

Pacific Expressway is a family owned-and-operated trucking company. Pacific Expressway is also the new tenant in a 111,000-square-foot cross-dock/distribution facility in Compton, Calif.

Cushman & Wakefield announced the deal, with Rusty Smith and Steve Bohannon representing the landlord in the transaction. Owned by PGIM Real Estate, the freestanding building is located at 220 W. Victoria St. in Los Angeles’ South Bay submarket.

The facility features drive-around access (likely critical for a trucking company), dock-and-grade loading, 24-foot clearance and 14,652 square feet of office space.

“This lease demonstrates the robust demand we continue to see for industrial and logistics product in the South Bay, a location providing convenient access to a large population, extensive freeway network,  two of the world’s busiest ports, and major airports,” said C&W’s Rusty Smith, Executive Director.
