Family-Owned Stockton Retail Sells to Private Investor

Marcus & Millichap closed the sale of a 14,000-square-foot retail property located at 3750 West Ln. in Stockton. The sale price was $1,080,000.

Investment associate Dominic Mazzoni and Edward J. Nelson, first VP investments in Marcus & Millichap’s Sacramento office, marketed the property on behalf of the seller, an individual/personal trust. The buyer, a private investor, was procured by Chris Sill of Lee & Associates.

“The property had previously languished on the market for nearly three years under the representation of a local agent,” said Mazzoni. However, leveraging our team’s exposure and marketing strategies, we swiftly procured an offer within the first couple of weeks of marketing and successfully closed the deal at a price that satisfied the seller.

He continued, “The seller had inherited this property from his father a few decades ago, and since then, it had been held among a multitude of family members. With the seller located in Idaho, the decision to liquidate the asset and enjoy the fruits of their labor seemed to make the most sense.”
