Falcon Steel Buys 226K-SF Manufacturing Facility

Falcon Steel America LLC acquired a 226,000-square-foot manufacturing facility in Conroe, TX. The plant at 3575 Pollok Dr. will more than double the company’s manufacturing capacity for high-voltage steel-lattice towers, as well as commercial galvanizing and dulling operations.

The manufacturer acquired the plant from All-Tex Safety Supplies Inc. for an undisclosed price. The asset is assessed at $23.8 million.

The Fort Worth-based FSA anticipates hiring 150 skilled and unskilled workers for the plant, which is situated on 25 acres in Conroe, approximately 30 miles north of Houston. The company plans to first establish a fabrication line, then its galvanizing line.

FSA is the only fabricator of high-voltage steel-lattice towers in the United States.
