Fairlife Expanding, Building $200M+ Production Facility in Goodyear, AZ
A new 300,000-square-foot production and distribution facility is being built by fairlife, LLC in Goodyear, AZ. The more than $200-million plant west of Phoenix in the Palm Valley 303 Business Park is needed to meet demand for dairy-based beverages.
The Chicago-based company’s Tim Doelman says, “In choosing a new plant location, it is essential that the new facility be built in an area where dairy farms are willing and able to follow fairlife’s responsible animal care and sustainable farming practices, while producing the highest quality milk.”
The new facility at Cotton Lane and Thomas Road will incorporate advanced manufacturing technologies and efficient, energy-saving equipment to reduce power consumption. It will create more than 140 jobs and is slated to begin operations in late 2020. The company currently operates a production plant in Coopersville, MI, and distributes to retailers in the U.S. and Canada.
