Facebook to Take 1M SF at Jay Paul’s Sunnyvale Campus
Menlo Park, CA-based Facebook is reportedly taking the last three, under-construction buildings encompassing roughly one million square feet of space in Jay Paul’s Moffett Towers II development in Sunnyvale, CA. The 47-acre, 1.7 million-square-foot office campus, located in the city’s Moffett Park district, is slated to deliver in 2019.
The San Francisco-based developer has successfully leased five eight-story buildings at the $685-million campus along 11th Street near Discovery Way. The site is located at the intersection of Highways 101 and 237. Level 10 Construction, Jay Paul’s construction company, commenced development on the project in August of 2016.
Facebook’s deal could eventually result in 5,000 to 6,000 employees working at the property. The area has attracted high-tech firms such as Google, NetApp, Juniper Networks, Hewlett Packard and Amazon.
NKF’s Phil Mahoney handles leasing for the landlord at the property.
