Denver's iconic Corsican Apartments Traded for first time

Fabled Denver Apartment Tower Sells for the First Time

Even though it was built in 1968, the Corsican Apartments, still towers above its surroundings. The 82-unit high-rise multifamily community is situated in Denver’s Cheesman Park neighborhood. It sold for $31 mil ($378k/unit), the first time the tower exchanged hands since it was built.

The building stands 11 stories and has underground parking. The community also has an indoor heated pool, steam room and dry sauna, fitness center, yoga studio and resident lounge/game room. Corsican has one- and two-bedroom floorplans with an average unit size of 820 sf. The property is situated a few blocks from Cheesman Park and the Denver Botanic Gardens and two miles from downtown Denver. Numerous restaurants, bars and other amenities are also within walking distance.

A CBRE team, lead by Justin Hunt represented the seller. “Corsican offered a rare opportunity to acquire an iconic Cheesman Park tower that had never previously traded. This community provides some of the best views in Denver, a robust amenity package, and has some of the greatest parking in the neighborhood,” said Hunt.
